Anne & Nick
Ingliston Country Club
Anne and Nick’s wedding was an incredible day filled with love, laughter, and a celebration of two lives coming together from different corners of Europe. Anne, originally from the Netherlands, and Nick, a proud Scot, decided Scotland would be the perfect place to tie the knot. With Anne’s family travelling over from the Netherlands and Nick’s friends and family gathering locally, it was a union of cultures and hearts.
Held at the stunning Ingliston Country Club in Bishopton, the couple chose a venue that perfectly matched the scale of their celebration—starting with an intimate morning and growing into a full-blown party with 200 guests. It’s one of the largest wedding spaces I’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting, and the atmosphere was electric from start to finish.
Anne and Nick booked me and my assistant, Ben, as their photographers, trusting us to document every detail. They weren’t interested in video; instead, they focused on capturing authentic, storytelling images. The weather was a classic display of Scotland’s unpredictability—rapidly shifting from rain to sunshine. This meant some quick dashes outside for portraits, braving a drizzle that turned into golden light moments later. Those fleeting moments became some of my favourite shots from the day.
Anne and Nick’s story is also a testament to perseverance—they met while working for Mercedes and managed a long-distance relationship before finally moving in together.
Here are some of my favourite photos from their unforgettable day.
