When browsing photographers’ websites, it’s easy to be drawn to a carefully curated selection of their absolute best work (believe me, I’ve done this for years). However, I’ve come to realize that it’s much more helpful to showcase a broader selection—giving you a true sense of what your wedding gallery could look like. This way, if you vibe with my work and decide to book me for your big day (hooray!), there’s a pretty darn good chance you’ll be thrilled with the final result.

I also want to take a moment to say that Newhall Estate is a truly wonderful venue for a midsized wedding of around 30–60 guests. I’m sure they host both larger and more intimate weddings as well. I even heard they’re adding an extension in 2026 to expand the reception area, which sounds very exciting! It’s a stunning venue—intimate yet surprisingly spacious. There are so many beautiful backdrops for photos that you probably won’t have time to explore them all on your wedding day (for example, Ben & Katy decided they didn’t need to visit the walled garden). It really feels like the estate is yours for the day (or weekend, depending on your booking). With its enchanting atmosphere, endless photo opportunities, and a charmingly Scottish castle aesthetic, I think it’s the perfect venue for an intimate Scottish destination wedding. Plus, with plenty of on-site accommodation, a communal kitchen area, and breathtaking grounds—what’s not to love?

Below, you’ll find a mix of everything: from intricate details and sweeping landscapes to group shots, portraits, and plenty of natural documentary moments. I even threw in a few editorial-style portraits. The speeches and sparkler shots were particular highlights for me—it was such a joy to capture all the emotions of the day. But honestly, I just love everything about how this Intimate Edinburgh wedding came together.
