THE BEGINNING OF A NEW CHAPTER

Of all the venues I work at, Glenapp Castle is perhaps the one I return to most often. For Dom and Carly, it was the perfect choice. They wanted a full-service, black-tie wedding where all of their guests could stay together and truly share the experience. It was not a huge wedding, nor a small one, but something elegantly in between. Every guest they wanted was there, from long-standing business partners to their children, creating a day that somehow felt both decadent and deeply homely at the same time.

They also chose some exceptional suppliers. The florals by A Curious Arrangement beautifully complemented the candlelit reception in the Azalea Glasshouse. Another real standout for me was the cake. It was genuinely one of the most interesting designs I have seen in recent memory, and it worked perfectly. Guests were fascinated by it, as was I, and it quickly became one of those small but unforgettable details I knew I needed to document properly.

The whole day was truly special. As an observer, it was impossible not to notice how present and connected Carly and Dom were throughout. There were tears, laughter, and a great deal of love. It was the kind of winter wedding where nobody even thought about the weather. Everyone was far too busy enjoying the moment and experiencing the day together, and it was an absolute privilege to capture it all.
