A magical winter wedding at Carlowrie castle, Scotland


Hey there! So, let me tell you about this incredible winter wedding I recently had the pleasure of photographing at Carlowrie Castle near Edinburgh. Picture this: Emily and Jamie, a fun-loving couple from Essex, decided to swap the hustle and bustle for the charm of Scotland's countryside, and boy, was it magical.


Now, if you haven't heard of Carlowrie Castle, let me paint a picture for you. It's the epitome of luxury and elegance, the kind of place that takes your breath away as soon as you step foot inside. And trust me, it provided the most stunning backdrop for Emily and Jamie's big day.


So, here's the scoop: it was a winter wedding, which meant the sun was setting early, but that just gave us the perfect excuse to break out the sparklers. I'm talking about those mesmerizing, twirling lights that make everything look like a fairytale. It was pure magic.

Oh, and let's not forget about the entertainment! We had a seriously talented saxophonist on hand to serenade the guests and keep the party vibes going strong. And once the dance floor opened up, you better believe we brought out the glow sticks. There's just something about dancing under the stars with those neon lights that takes the whole night to another level.


Now, as a photographer, my favorite part of the day was definitely seeing Emily and Jamie's playful personalities shine through. They were all about having fun and making memories, and it made my job an absolute blast.


And get this: instead of the usual wedding cake, they had an ice cream bar! I mean, who doesn't love a scoop of something sweet to cap off the night, right?
